Sherman Gardens in Corona del Mar was the setting for the Oct. 9 wedding

of Renee Spaniol, of Newport Beach, and Dave Schweitzer, of Newport

Beach.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy Yingling and Earl and Cheryl Spaniol

of Lancaster.

The bride wore a white, satin fitted gown.

Her matron of honor was Lynnda McGlinn.

The bridegroom is the son of Conrad and Diane Schweitzer of Newport

Beach.

His best man was Don Larsen. Ushers were Sean Spaniol, Michael Lee, Bill

Lee and Mike Sidney. The ring bearer was John Lee.

The reception was a Sherman Gardens.

The couple will live in Newport Beach following a wedding trip to Maui.

She is employed with Hoag Hospital.

He is employed with General Mortgage.

Kress-Herrington

The Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach was the setting for the May 1

wedding of Julia Elizabeth Kress, of Dana Point, and William Frederic

Herrington Jr., of Dana Point.

The bride is the daughter of Skip Kress of League City, Texas and Sara

Mahle of Darien, Ill.

Her dress was an embroidered fitted satin bodice with a long, full tulle

skirt.

Her maid of honor was Lisa Marie Kress, her sister. Bridesmaids were

Brooke Truninger, Christina Anthony, Angela Losacco, Donna Salusti and

Renee D’Agostino.

The bridegroom is the son of Jane Herrington and the late William F.

Herrington of Corona del Mar.

His best man was Matt Herrington, his brother. Ushers were Scott Black,

Dave Harvey, Ken Murphy, Dave Burstein, Don Jackson and Patrick

Truninger.

The reception was at the Surf and Sand Hotel and was attended by 165

guests.

The couple will live in Dana Point following a wedding trip.

She is an attorney with Paul Greenwald and Associates in Orange.

He is employed by Landgrant Development Co. in San Diego.
