Surf pounds the Eagles
Chad Ramsey scored a match-high three goals to lead a Surf
offensive onslaught that saw six players get into the scoring act in an
11-1 Mite Club division victory over the Eagles Wednesday at Coast 2
Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Kevin Lachman, Kevin Tanaka, and Michael Burkhardt each scored two goals
and single goals went to Ryan Doyle and Michael Mongelli as the Surf
improved their league mark to 5-2 and moved into a second-place tie with
the Flamebos.
Mongelli and Eric Alfaro both finished with two assists as the Surf
opened up a 7-1 lead at the half.
Scott Mahelona scored off a Christopher Romero assist in the second
quarter for the Eagles, who fell to 0-7.

SABRES 7, FLAMEBOS 3
Adam Springer scored three times, Adam Cardwell scored two goals, and
Nick Schwartz and Russell Fox both scored once as the first-place Sabres
ran their unbeaten record to 6-0.
Andy Holmes, Michael Hiraoka, and Dan Zike all scored for the Flamebos
(5-2).
LBZ 9, HYPER CANNIBALS 2
Donald Kohler, Ricky Olson, and Jeffrey Deutchmann each scored twice and
Michael Mendez, David Finney, and Paul Anderson, Jeffrey Deutchmann all
scored once as LBZ improved to 3-4.
Daniel Ha and Harrison Porter both scored for the Hyper Cannibals, now
1-5.
