Fountain Valley
Verbena Court: A car window was smashed and $555 in property was stolen
from a car parked in the 11900 block at 4:48 p.m. Saturday.
Bushard Street: A purse containing $345 was stolen from the floor board
of a car parked in the 17800 block at 3:06 p.m. Saturday.
San Miguel Court: A man asked Texaco customers in the 10000 block for
money in exchange for fueling gas tanks with a credit card stolen from
his roommate at 4:02 p.m. Saturday.
Santa Carlotta Street: White spray paint was used to write foul language
on a handball court and bathroom doors at Courreges School in the 18300
block at 5:03 p.m. Saturday.
Pearl Avenue: A robber broke a door frame and ransacked a house in the
9500 block and stole $540 in jewelry at 1:39 p.m. Friday.
La Terraza Avenue: A man’s briefcase was stolen when he left it
unattended on a sidewalk at the intersection of Los Jardines with his
duffel bag and boots at 9:14 a.m. Saturday.
Falcon Avenue: A tire was slashed and the hood of a trunk was punctured
in the 10100 block at noon Wednesday.
El Libro Avenue: About $870 in property was stolen from a car parked in
the 8500 block at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday.
Santa Lauretta Circle: A razor knife was used to puncture the tires of a
car parked in the 18200 block at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday.
Bushard Street: A permanent blue marker was used to deface an electrical
box with graffiti at the intersection of El Camino at 6:12 a.m.
Wednesday.
San Miguel Court: A blue marker was used to write on the sidewalk and
blue and green markers were used to tag a nearby utility box in the 10000
block at 12:39 p.m. Tuesday.
Euclid Street: A backpack was stolen from the floor of an unlocked car
parked at Community Christian School in the 17500 block at 1 p.m.
Tuesday.
Talbert Avenue: A cellular phone was stolen from a woman’s book bag at
the University of Phoenix in the 10500 block after she left it unattended
at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Devonwood Circle: A vehicle was scratched while parked in a woman’s
driveway in the 18100 block at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday.
Santa Barbara Street: Someone removed a screen from a bathroom window and
entered a house in the 17200 block and, once inside, ransacked several
bedrooms, taking jewelry and money worth $3,700 at 2:52 p.m. Monday.
Magnolia Street: A man’s cell phone was stolen from his car’s drink
holder while he was shopping at Vanco Market in the 16000 block at 2:08
p.m. Monday.
Emery Court: Someone scratched a woman’s car doors and flattened her rear
tires in the 9300 block at 9:35 a.m. Monday.
Brookhurst Street: A 16-by-3-inch piece of cinder block was thrown
through the window of a car parked at Texaco in the 17900 block at 3:42
p.m. Saturday.

Fieldbury Lane: A woman’s fence was covered with blue boxes in the 18200
block at 6:41 a.m. Friday.
Telhan Drive: A 17-year-old threatened to kill someone as he walked along
the back wall of a residence in the 9600 block at 11:52 a.m. Sunday.
Slater Avenue: Four juveniles moved a sofa onto the railroad tracks at
the intersection of Gothard Street and were sitting on it at 12:58 p.m.
Sunday.
Mandrill Drive: Four males were drinking in a carport in the 7800 block
at 1:14 p.m. Sunday.
Pacific Coast Highway: A toddler who was unsupervised by an adult was
playing in the dirt close to the highway at the intersection of Newland
at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
Le Grand Lane: A neighbor threw a trash can over a fence in the 16500
block at 2:47 p.m. Sunday.
Indianapolis Avenue: Someone tagged walls and fences at Sowers Middle
School at 5:27 p.m. Sunday.
Glenhaven Lane: People left several shopping carts in front of a woman’s
home in the 16800 block at 9:01 p.m. Sunday.
Chesapeake Lane: Someone blew up smoke bombs and cherry bombs on a bridge
in the 19700 block at 9:56 p.m. Sunday.
Goldenwest Street: A man threatened to kill someone at Goldenwest College
in the 15700 block at 7:48 a.m. Saturday.
Edinger Avenue: A man stayed in the bathroom at Der Wienerschnitzel in
the 7600 block for a half hour and wouldn’t come out at 6:10 p.m.
Saturday.
Gothard Street: A car rear-ended a man’s mobile home in the 17200 and
then drove away at 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
England Street: Three juveniles were riding bikes and writing on garage
doors in the 900 block with markers at 7:52 p.m. Saturday.
Beach Boulevard: A man chased cars in front of Ralphs market in the 19000
block at 8:49 p.m. Saturday.
Gothard Street: A flower pot as big as a trash can was sitting in the
middle of the street outside of Oceanview High School in the 17000 block
at 6:32 a.m. Friday.
