Swimming: Local AquaZots fare well

ANAHEIM - Local area youngsters who participated for the Irvine

AquaZots were among the top finishers at the “ABC” swim meet at Canyon

High.

In the 13 and older division, Jennifer Louview of Costa Mesa won the

100-yard breaststroke at 1:19.62, bettering her personal-best time by

over a second and the 500 freestyle at 5:56.34.

Hayden Hutchison of Corona del Mar bettered her time by 1.13 seconds

in the 200 back with a time of 2:26.67.

In the 11-12 division, Jackie Petrelli of Newport Beach and Kathryn

Bilder of Corona del Mar, each improved their personal times in every

individual event raced.

In the 9-10 boys division, Alexander Swanson of Newport Beach took

second place in the 100 IM (1:25.95), shaving two seconds off his

personal-best time, while in the girls division, Sarah Hutchison,

Stephanie Gavert, Kate Indvik and Molly Esposito each pulled off their

best-ever times in all events competed.

In the 8-and-under division, Iam Farrell performed well in the 25 back

(25.29) and the 25 free (22.60).
