San Luis Street: A garage door was broken when someone attempted to gain
access to a home in the 17200 block at 10:11 a.m. Sunday.
Magnolia Street: About $2,200 in property was stolen from Sav-On in the
17100 block at 9:01 a.m. Sunday.
Euclid Street: A car drove onto a strawberry field at the corner of Heil
and got stuck, damaging the field at 7:13 a.m. Saturday.
Warner Avenue: A man stole a carton of cigarettes in the 10900 block at
3:28 a.m. Sunday.
Cordata Street: Ten eggs were thrown at a car, chipping the paint off the
door and causing $800 in damage, in the 18800 block at 10:29 a.m.
Saturday.
Newhope Street: A woman left her purse under her desk in the girls’
locker room at Los Amigos High School in the 16500 block. Someone stole
her cell phone and $300 cash from the purse at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday.
Mount Lilita Court: Someone used a pry tool to open the front door of a
home in the 17000 block and steal a videocassette recorder, money and
jewelry at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday.
Hibiscus Avenue: A key was used to create two 18-inch scratches on a car
parked in the 9700 block at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday.
Warner Avenue: A white grease pencil was used to vandalize two trash cans
and a picnic table at Plavan Park in the 9700 block at 10:11 a.m.
Wednesday.
Ward Street: A driver’s side air bag was stolen from a car at American
Break Supply in the 18300 block at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday.

Newland Street: A man’s insulin needles were stolen from his apartment in
the 21800 block at 1:33 p.m. Tuesday.
Atlanta Avenue: Two men started a fight at the intersection of Brookhurst
Street at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday.
Strathmoor Lane: Gang graffiti was written on the school walls and trash
area at Brethren High School in the 21100 block at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday.
Walnut Avenue: Someone threw a pumpkin through a window at the
intersection of 17th Street at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday.
Edinger Avenue: Video games worth about $12,000 were stolen from
Blockbuster Video in the 6400 block at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, allegedly by an
employee’s husband.
Yellowstone Drive: A cell phone was lost at a soccer game at Hawes School
in the 9600 block at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday.
Gothard Street: A woman wanted pickles and onions in a sandwich she
bought from Huckleberry Sandwich in the 15800 block. When it didn’t come
that way, the restaurant refused to refund her money at 1:21 p.m.
Tuesday.
Indianapolis Avenue: Someone stole a boy’s bike parked at Sowers Middle
School in the 9300 block at 4:52 p.m. Tuesday.Beach Boulevard: Three
juveniles loitered in front of Bell’s Liquor in the 19300 block and when
they were asked to leave at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, they threw a rock at the
store.
Lynn Street: A juvenile tripped a woman’s 12-year-old son at Weider Park
and chipped his tooth in the 16800 block at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday.
Barton Drive: Two men fought with each other in the 7800 block at 9:26
p.m. Tuesday.
6th Street: A boy’s wetsuit was stolen from a front yard in the 100 block
at 9:53 p.m. Tuesday.
Manifesto Circle: Kids blew up pumpkins in the 8300 block at 12:34 a.m.
Monday.
Walnut Avenue: Ten subjects fought in the middle of the street outside of
Gallagher’s Pub & Grill in the 100 block at 1:09 a.m. Sunday.
Pacific Coast Highway: A man walked with a gun in front of Duke’s
restaurant at the intersection of Main Street at 2:29 a.m. Sunday.
Main Street: A man said another man pulled a gun on him in the 100 block
at 2:50 a.m. Sunday.
Newport Boulevard: A man in the emergency room was punched in the nose at
Hoag Hospital in the 300 block at 2:31 a.m. Sunday.
Main Street: A man with a bottle of hard alcohol in each hand drove his
car into a tree in the 100 block at 5:10 a.m. Sunday.
Main Street: Someone stole a bike in the 800 block at 6:52 a.m. Sunday.
Caballero Lane: The padlock was cut off of a garage door in the 16500
block and a computer and plastic tubes containing miscellaneous items
were stolen at 7:50 a.m. Sunday.
Main Street: A subject just released from jail was threatening and
scaring students with disabilities at Huntington Beach High School in the
1900 block at 9:26 a.m. Sunday.
Atlanta Avenue: A homeless person was peering into car windows at the
intersection of Beach Boulevard at 11:18 a.m. Sunday.
Goldenwest Street: A woman’s car was broken into in the 15700 block at
1:06 a.m. Sunday.
Ravenwood Lane: Someone tried to break into a home in the 20400 block at
5:46 p.m. Sunday.
Chapel Lane: About 50 teenagers in a church group were yelling and
screaming at the intersection of Ellis Avenue at 7:02 p.m. Sunday.
Beach Boulevard: Several juveniles stole a case of beer from Ralph’s
market in the 19000 block at 8:48 p.m. Sunday.
Graham Street: Two groups fought at Marina Park at the intersection of
Edinger Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Sunday.
Hoover Drive: Kids skateboarded at Circle View School in the 6200 block
at 1:41 a.m. Saturday.
