Naulty brings baseball camp to Huntington Beach
Ocean View High will be the site this year for Dan Naulty’s Big
League Baseball Charity Camp, which will be held during Thanksgiving Day
weekend.
The camp will give youngsters the chance to learn from the pros in a
three-day period of fun and intensive training.
Monies raised by this charity event go to support other local youth
sports and education programs.
Naulty, of the New York Yankees, has brought together many Major League
Baseball players to donate their time and teach local youth the art of
baseball at this unique once-a-year, non-profit charity baseball camp.
What makes the camp unique is that Major League Baseball players actually
teach the entire camp. Naulty already has secured former Angel Rod Carew
for this year’s camp.
The camp will run from Nov. 26-28, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., daily, and is
open to boys and girls ages 8-14.
Camp space is limited, and tuition runs $249 per participant and includes
quality instruction through three days of Major League training, lunch
each day, camp T-shirt, and an autographed ball.
Interested parties can obtain more information about Dan Naulty’s Big
League Baseball Charity Camp by calling 562-493-4441, or through the
event’s website, www.NaultyBaseball.com.
