University of Washington, Oregon State among others.

This year’s races will feature 8-boats and singles for both men’s and

In addition to the college teams, junior rowing clubs, including the

NAC Junior Crew will enter varsity and novice teams to compete.

Students from Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar high schools, as well

as Santa Margarita, Mater Dei and other Orange County schools will

compete against teams from the Bay Area and all over the west coast.

The race course begins just north of the Lido Bridge, travels around

Lido Island, then continues under the Pacific Coast Highway bridge to the

finish line near the NAC facility, across the Back Bay Channel from the

Newport Dunes.
