Women’s volleyball: Myer honored by Ivy League
PRINCETON, New Jersey - Corona del Mar grad and current Brown
University sophomore Corre Myer was named the Ivy League Volleyball
Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 26.
Myer led Brown to two wins over Yale and Stony Brook.
In the win over Yale, Myer had a match-high 21 digs and 47 assists for
the Bears, as they improve to 4-1 in the Ivy League.
Against Stony Brook, Myer had 43 assists and the game-winning point
for the Bears, who trailed, 5-13, in game one and, 7-13, in game two
before rallying to win both.
With 2,047 assists in her two-year career at Brown, Myer is only 502
shy of the school record.
Myer is an assistant captain for the volleyball team and she is
majoring in international relations and French at Brown.
