Casey Maines scored two goals Wednesday, and it was just enough to

get the Renegades past the Hot Shots, 2-1, in a Wales Division match

played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Maines scored off a Kyle Sabraw assist in the opening quarter as the

Renegades took a 1-0 lead at the half, then scored unassisted in the

third period to put his team up, 2-1.

Goalie Justin Bohn had a big day in the net, stopping an amazing 37 shot

attempts posted by the Hot Shots.

Hot Shots goalie Erik Larsen recorded 20 saves.

Corey Cano scored off a Tommy Montgomery assist for the Hot Shots.

Roller Dogs 9, You Ain’t Hurt 2

Bradley Croen led all scorers with three goals, Jamie Dyke scored twice,

and single goals went to Spencer Kalander, Tyler Marmion, and Steven

Siglin as the Roller Dogs put the hurt on You Ain’t Hurt.

Christopher Maurer scored off a Chad Ramsey assist, Ramsey also scored an

unassisted goal, and goalkeeper Nicholas Ferreira recorded 27 saves to

lead You Ain’t Hurt.

Jackals 5, Thrashers 2

Jonathan Radin scored twice with one assist, Ryan Turchi, Ryan Ratelle,

and Vartan Tchekmedyian all scored once, and goalie Joshua Hackworth had

32 saves for the Jackals; Adam Sebrasky scored both goals, one off a

Traves Smith assist, to pace the Thrashers.

Jackals 4, Mustangs 4

Jonathan Radin and Sergei Sedykin each scored twice, Sedykin also had an

assist, and goalie Joshua Hackworth stopped 33 shot attempts for the

Jackals in the overtime tie; Timothy Bonnett scored two goals, both Jared

Brown and Jef Bisso scored once, and goalie Jason Guttierrez had 25 saves

to lead the Mustangs.
