COSTA MESANewport Boulevard: A cockatoo worth $1,000 was stolen

from a store in the 1800 block between 10:30 and 11 a.m. Oct. 16.

Rochester Street: A compact disc player worth $200 was stolen from a car

in the 100 block at 10 p.m. Oct. 17.

South Coast Drive: A cellular phone worth $340 was stolen from a car in

the 900 block during the evening of Oct. 21.

Wallace Avenue: About $100 was stolen from a laundry machine in the 2000

block between Sept. 30 and Oct. 19.

West 19th Street: A bicycle worth $900 was stolen from outside a fitness

center in the 800 block between 4 and 6 p.m. Oct. 20.
