Lab Anti-Mall’s festival marking The Day of The Dead may provide an
interesting alternative. The festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. today.

Marriage, dogs, love and compromise: if it sounds like an entertaining
mix, A.R. Gurney’s comic play “Sylvia” is the thing to see. The play is
running at The Theatre District in Costa Mesa. Show times are 8 p.m.

The photographs of Bay Area artist Jack Fulton are on display in OCC’s
Photo Gallery. Fulton is an art and photography teacher at the San
Francisco Art Institute. The work is available for viewing 9 a.m. to 5

TUESDAY
The American art curator of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Ilene
Susan Fort, will speak as part of The Orange County Museum of Art’s
ongoing series of free art lectures. Fort will speak on “The City
Unraveled: Artists Respond to the Depression.” The talk will be at noon.

Postmodernity hits the opera house when The Orange County Performing Arts
Center hosts Mikel Rouse’s talk show/opera “Dennis Cleveland” in Founders
