Bottom line: This battle of PCL unbeatens renews league rivalry between

schools who have not met since 1993. CdM (1-6, 1-0) will need to grind it

out and limit mistakes, while Estancia (5-2, 2-0) has flourished with big

plays, most of which by tailback Marshall Hendricks. Both teams have

shown lapses in concentration, so the team which focuses best should come

out on top and gain inside track toward league title.

Newport Harbor vs. Woodbridge

Site: Newport Harbor High, 7:30 p.m.

Bottom line: Win would clinch share of second league title during Coach

Jeff Brinkley’s 14-year tenure with Sailors (6-0-1, 2-0), but Warriors

(5-2, 0-1) have been a thorn in Tars side the last two years.

Woodbridge’s Shane Harris is league’s best player, but Sailors are

looking like its best team.
