A perfect night for Stage Fright

COSTA MESA -- They normally frighten students with threats of pop quizzes

or failing grades, but Sunday night a group of Costa Mesa High School

teachers are performing a “Fright Night” concert.

The all-faculty band lead by English teacher Michael Lawrence goes by the

name of Stage Fright. Opening for the full-time scholars and part-time

rockers is Disturbing the Peace, an all-student band. The three students

from Ensign Intermediate School will take the stage at 5 p.m.

The concert will be held at the Newport Beach Hard Rock Cafe from 5 to 10

p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance on the Internet at

o7 www.etm.comf7 , at Costa Mesa High School or at the door.

All proceeds from the concert benefit Costa Mesa High and Ensign

activities programs.
