Soccer: OCU Rush III win two over weekend

COSTA MESA - The Orange Coast United Rush III girls-under-15 soccer

team defeated the Costa Mesa Commonwealth, 5-0, Saturday and 2-0 over

Tustin United on Sunday.

In Saturday’s win, Kate Younglove and Megan Curry each had two goals,

while Nichelle McRorie added another goal for the Rush III. Adele Koeting

had three assists in the contest.

On Sunday, Younglove scored both of the Rush’s goals, one on a corner

kick and one on a breakaway, while Koeting added an assist.

The Rush III lead their division with a record of 9-2.

In other OCU soccer action:

Valley United Force 1, OCU Sting 0 - For the boys-under-17 bold team,

the Sting’s defense was led by Kevin Yoches, Brian Henry, Ryan Denman and

goalie Sam Coons, while the offense was led by Billy Lund, Chasen

Marshall, Tyler Simmons, Scott Nickerson, Federico Moreno, Chris Kim,

Ryan Lancaster, Justin Collins and Bijan Ewalt.
