IRVINE - Unbeaten Newport Harbor was a three-stroke winner over

Irvine in Sea View League girls golf Tuesday at Oak Creek Golf Club’s

par-36 course over nine holes, taking a 121-124 decision to improve to

12-0 overall, 6-0 in league play.

Irvine’s Stella Lee was the day’s medalist with a 1-under 35.

Sophomore Kelly Hunt led Newport with a 36 and Emily McKay and Shelly

Roberts chipped in with a 40 and 45, respectively. Hunt had two birdies,

two bogeys and five pars, lipping a two-footer on the final hole to drop

one stroke off Lee’s medalist performance.

Irvine drops to 5-6, 1-5.
