CdM’s girls volleyball team comes from behind to beat Irvine, 10-15,

6-15, 15-12, 15-9, 15-11. Kathy Rice has 29 kills, and Kelly Campbell

adds 19.

CdM’s boys water polo team beats Newport Harbor, 15-9. Adam McFarland and

Neil Hueston have two steals each to trigger a Sailors’ offensive

collapse. Hueston also has five goals. Gabe Wyatt scores eight goals for

Newport Harbor.

overtime for a tight win against Laguna Hills.

University, 24-21. Todd Farley rushes for 155 yards and a touchdown.

Newport Harbor’s boys water polo team defeats University, 10-3, in the

Orange County Water Polo Tournament behind five goals from Richard

Ruffini.

CdM wins in the tournament, 14-2, with four goals from Gunnar Gustafson.

Orange Coast College’s football team pounds San Diego Mesa, but star
