Girls tennis: Costa Mesa blanked by Artists
LAGUNA BEACH - Costa Mesa High girls tennis team went up against
the CIF Southern Section Division V’s top-ranked Laguna Beach High and
lost, 18-0, Tuesday in Pacific Coast League action.
It doesn’t get much easier for the Mustangs (6-8, 2-2), they travel to
rival Corona del Mar High, ranked No. 5 in Division I, Thursday at 3 p.m.

Laguna Beach 18, Costa Mesa 0 Singles: Havens (CM) lost to Maddocks, 0-6, lost to Sandman, 0-6, lost
to Ward, 2-6; Doan (CM) lost 0-6, 0-6, 0-6; M. Lee (CM) lost 1-6, 1-6,
1-6.
Doubles: DeMello-Huynh (CM) lost to Schullman-Steinle, 1-6, lost to
MacGuicray-McMahow, 2-6, lost to Tucker-Messineo, 3-6; J. Lee-Kim (CM)
