Newport boys ramble
ORANGE -- Newport Harbor’s boys established themselves as runaway
leaders in the race for the Sea View League cross country championship
after dominating the first of two five-way meets, which will precede
league finals, Thursday.
Doug Dukes, John Peschelt and Chris McMillen went 3-5-6 for the boys.
Amber Steen won individual honors for girls with an 18:42 effort, but
Harbor finished second to Woodbridge in team standings.
