Club soccer: Wolfpack tie Whittier

COSTA MESA - The Wolfpack, girls-under-10 soccer team battled the

USC X-treme club from Whittier to a 2-2 tie Saturday at Estancia High.

Justine Freud scored both goals for the Wolfpack, who are now 3-2-1 in

league play.

The defense was led by Carly Ruiz, Emily Ohlhaver, Megan Munce and

Allie Duernberger, while goalie Kristina Dague kept the game close for

the Wolfpack.

Leading the way on offense were Alesha Young, Alex McIntosh, Claire

Josephson and Crystal Mena.

Ladycats, Alison Apadaca scored two breakaway goals in the final 20

minutes of play for the win.
