Boys club soccer: Sting win two over weekend

COSTA MESA - The OCU Sting boys-under-17, team began a winning

streak this past weekend with two wins in a row.

On Saturday the OCU Sting knocked off the CUSC Impact, 3-0, on goals

from Brian Walton, Scott Nickerson and Jordan Christian.

On Sunday against the LUSC Storm, Walton scored twice more, and Chasen

Marshall added a third tally in a 3-0 win for the Sting.

The offensive unit was led by Federico Moreno, Chris Kim, Ryan

Lancaster, Justin Collins and Bijan Ewalt.

With back-to-back shutouts, the defense was led by Kevin Yoches, Brian

Henry, Ryan Denman and Sam Coons.

OCU Vipers 3, Wolves 2 - Adam Dobkin scored two goals and Kyle

Schneekluth added a goal for OCU Vipers.

Billy Munce had an assist and solid midfield play was turned in by

Eric Cox, Matt Collier, Jonsen Carmack and Donnie Hunt.
