Fountain Valley
Bandilier Circle: Someone used a blunt object to smash the front door
window of Hobby Shack in the 18400 block at 8:04 a.m. Sunday.
Garfield Avenue: A woman drove up to assist another woman, who was in a
verbal argument with a man in the 9000 block, and the man shattered her
rear window with his fist and fled east on Garfield at 3:45 p.m. Sunday.
Newhope Street: Someone gained access to the cafeteria at Los Amigos High
School in the 16500 block by breaking the door handle and chain lock, and
then broke a window of an office and stole an unknown amount of property
at 1:38 a.m. Monday.
Brookhurst Street: Someone entered M & M Liquor store in the 16000 block
and grabbed six plastic dispensers containing 1,000 lottery tickets at
8:01 p.m. Saturday.
Brookhurst Street: A victim and a suspect had a verbal argument at
Fountain Bowl in the 17100 block. When they agreed to take it outside,
the victim was attacked by four gang members who, after kicking and
hitting him, removed $400 in property from his pockets while pointing a
gun at his head at 1:58 a.m. Sunday.
Huntington Beach
Indianapolis Avenue: A very large crowd of teenagers gathered at Sowers
Middle School in the 9300 block and yelled and screamed at 9:44 p.m.
Friday.
Adams Avenue: A woman said she recently moved from a drug-infested area
of Los Angeles and that the noise from a party raging in the 200 block at
12:15 a.m. Saturday was worse.Julliette Low Drive: Juveniles jumped on
sheds at Sun View School in the 7700 block at 12:25 a.m. Saturday.
Algonquin Street: A customer and owner of a car wash were fist-fighting
in the 16900 block at 8:43 a.m. Saturday.
Beach Boulevard: Someone flew a loud remote-control helicopter at the
intersection of Talbert Avenue at Crestview School at 9:44 a.m. Saturday.
Modale Drive: A transient was sleeping in the attic of a clubhouse
restroom in the 8300 block at 11:20 a.m. Saturday.
Bolsa Avenue: Someone dumped toxic waste at the Vanity Fair Mills in the
5100 block at 12:55 p.m. Saturday.
Seaside Lane: An elderly couple stole $800 in antique jewelry, including
a bracelet and amber necklace, from a residence in the 21900 block during
a garage sale at 1:01 p.m. Saturday.
Edinger Avenue: A crying infant was left in a locked, black Mercedes
sports utility vehicle in the parking lot at Home Depot in the 6900 block
at 3:21 p.m. Saturday.
Baron Circle: A man sped through the neighborhood in the 17900 block, as
he always does, at 3:47 p.m. Saturday.
Warner Avenue: Subjects dropped drugs off of a balcony at the Windjammer
apartments in the 7700 block at 5:43 p.m. Saturday.
Graham Street: Kids threw rocks at farm equipment in a bean field at the
intersection of Slater Avenue at 6:25 p.m. Saturday.
Taylor Drive: A white pit bull with brown spots tried to attack a woman
at the intersection of Beach Boulevard at 7:47 p.m. Saturday.
Clay Avenue: A stray German shepherd ran in and out of traffic at the
intersection of 17th Street at 8:08 p.m. Saturday.
Pacific Coast Highway: Juveniles threw water balloons at passing cars at
the intersection of Magnolia Street and one damaged a car at 8:59 p.m.
