COSTA MESA - Costa Mesa High freshman Hilary Havens won two singles

sets, but visiting University prevailed for a 14-4 Pacific Coast League

girls tennis win Tuesday.

The Mustangs fell to 5-7, 1-1 in league, while University improved to 2-0

in league.

University 14, Costa Mesa 4 Singles: Havens (CM) lost to Bjorkman, 1-6, def. Aswad, 6-1, def. Tam,

6-2; Doan (CM) lost, 0-6, 0-6, won, 7-6; Lee (CM) lost, 0-6, 1-6, 1-6.

Doubles: DeMello-Huynh (CM) lost to Langer-Aswad, 5-7, lost to Lee-Kim,

1-6; def. Kao-Djen, 7-5; Dinsdale-Yenny (CM) lost, 0-6, 3-6, 1-6; Lee-Kim

(CM) lost, 2-6, 6-7, 3-6.
