COSTA MESA* Baker Street: A purse and its contents worth $1,200

were stolen from a car in the 800 block during the evening of Sept. 25.

* Cabrillo Street: A car stereo worth $180 was stolen in the 200 block

during the evening of Sept. 27.

* San Clemente Avenue: A bicycle worth $250 was stolen in the 2500 block

during the evening of Sept. 26.

* Whittier Avenue: A hydrant meter worth $764 was stolen from a home in

the 1700 block between Sept. 23 and Sept. 27.

* East 17th Street: About $117 was stolen from a car in the 200 block at

2:30 p.m. Sept. 27.

NEWPORT BEACH* Ocean Front: A laptop computer worth $1,000 was stolen from a car in the 2400 block between Sept. 15 and Sept. 17.

* 36th Street: A wallet and its contents worth $100 were stolen from a

car in the 100 block during the evening of Oct. 1.

* 60th Street: A surfboard, camera and a wallet worth $1,440 were stolen

from a car in the 100 block between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20.

* 62nd Street: A set of license plates worth $35 were stolen in the 100

block during the evening of Oct. 1.
