MILLENNIUM MOMENT

A. Vincent “Vin” Jorgensen was considered a pillar of the Newport

Beach community. He was a 33-year board member of Hoag Memorial Hospital,

a founding member of the philanthropic 552 Club and a member of the

Orange County Performing Arts Center board of trustees.

Jorgensen was the Newport Harbor Chamber of Commerce’s Man of the Year

for 1969 and the recipient of the Spirit of Life award from the City of

Hope. He was also an elder at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.

Jorgensen passed away in 1988.

MILLENNIUM MOMENT celebrates the people who have made a major

contribution to the Newport-Mesa community during this century.
