Girls tennis: Newport Harbor handles Capo Valley
MISSION VIEJO - The doubles teams of Kristen Case and Kelly Nelson,
along with Sarah Barker and Allison Schneider, swept through their
doubles sets as Newport Harbor High, ranked No. 1 in Orange County,
defeated host Capistrano Valley, 15-3, in girls tennis Wednesday.
In singles action, Newport’s Natalie Braverman and Audra Adams continued
their dominant ways, sweeping their sets for the Sailors (5-1), who
rebounded from Tuesday’s 11-7 loss to CIF powerhouse Peninsula.
Next up, the Sailors open Sea View League play as they host Irvine today
at 3:15 p.m.
