MEETINGS FOR THE UNEMPLOYED
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church hosts an ongoing series of Thursday
evening meetings for the unemployed, with speakers on various subjects.
This Thursday, Pat Fiducia will speak on the topic “Do Open Before
Christmas: Finding Hidden Treasures and Learning to Use Them.” The

JOHN WAYNE IMPERSONATOR
Internationally known John Wayne impersonator Gene Howard will speak at
Liberty Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Sunday. He will recite poems and give a
talk titled “Freedom and Sacrifice,” while decked out in cowboy regalia.

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church hosts a fellowship breakfast Wednesday
from 7 to 8 a.m. Mark Boyer will speak on “Fellowship of Christian
Athletes.” All men of the church and community are invited to the event,

For adults dealing with past sexual abuse, topics include developing safe
relationships, managing anger, overcoming the victim role and healing the

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
For adults in all stages of loss of a loved one. The group helps
participants to share experiences, receive support and learn ways to

YOU AND YOUR AGING PARENT
Jewish Family Services hosts sessions for adult children who carry some
responsibility for the care of aging parents. The group addresses issues
of communication and relationships with aging parents, finding resources,

NEW THOUGHT WORKSHOPS
New Thought Community Church hosts a variety of workshops from 10 a.m. to
noon Saturdays. Rev. Bob Pulliam will speak today about the importance of

RE-MEMBERING GROUP
Our Lady Queen of Angels hosts a series of meetings on Sunday evenings

KNOWING GOD INTIMATELY
On Mondays, people of diverse backgrounds and different churches gather
at St. Mark Presbyterian Church to pursue a one-on-one relationship with
God. The One Heart Christian Meditation group teaches and practices the
spiritual steps that can make that intimacy a daily reality. It meets

The Newport Beach Bahai community allows participants to hear and
