Coast rolls, 23-3

CHULA VISTA - Orange Coast College virtually drowned host

Southwestern Wednesday afternoon in an Orange Empire Conference women’s

water polo match, outscoring the Apaches in the first period, 10-0, en

route to a 23-3 breather.

Coach Mike Giles watched his team improve to 4-1 overall behind the

scoring antics of Narissa Reidenbaugh (five goals), Heather Lemkie (five

goals), Laura Blair (three goals) and Jessica Hylton (three goals).

Reidenbaugh scored four times in the first quarter alone, and

contributed three assists and three steals.

Erin Kennedy completed the rout with eight saves in the net.

It was 18-0 entering the fourth quarter.
