The Huntington Beach Dolphins Jr. All-American Football program
will host the NFL and Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick competition at 1 p.m.
Sunday at Ocean View High.
All participants must check in at least 20 minutes prior to the
scheduled start of the competition and must bring with them a birth
certificate or religious document (i.e., baptism certificate), unless the
participant already is on a Huntington Beach Dolphin player roster. The
first-place finishers in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions will advance
to the Section Competition, which will be held at noon Oct. 17 at
Fountain Valley High.
The competition is open to both boys’ and girls’ ages 8-15.

NJB Fountain Valley to hold sign-up sessions
National Junior Basketball of Fountain Valley will have its Winter
League divisional and clinic sign-ups from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday and Sept.
26 at the Fountain Valley High cafeteria.
The registration session is for all divisions, both boys and girls,
grades third to eighth. The clinic sign-ups are for grades first through
second. The fee is $85 per player for division play and $55 for the
clinic. If a player is new to NJB Fountain Valley, he/she must bring a
birth certificate to the sign-up. The program is also seeking coaching
volunteers.
The first games of the Winter League will be held Dec. 5.
