1. LEARNING A HANDY SKILL

A craft and sewing festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today

in Building 10 of the Orange County Fairgrounds. Admission is $7 for

2. JUST A LITTLE HORSING AROUND

The Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Show will be held Saturday at the

Orange County Fair & Exposition Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. For

3. A TASTY WAY TO BEGIN THE DAY

The OASIS Senior Center, at the corner of 5th and Narcissus, Corona del

Mar, will hold a breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The center will

serve blueberry and regular pancakes, sausages, orange juice and coffee.

The cost is $2 for adults and $1 for children.

4. MAKING MUSIC WITH BRASS

“A Brass Fanfare,” featuring musicians from the Pacific Symphony

Orchestra’s brass section, at 3 p.m. Sunday will launch the Newport Beach

Public Library’s Sunday Musicales, running from late summer through

spring. The Newport Beach Central Library is at 1000 Avocado Ave. For
