intersection of Gardenia at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Woodbridge Circle: Someone broke a dining room window with a hammer and
began searching dresser drawers throughout the house in the 16700 block
when the owner returned at 11:28 a.m. and wrestled a rifle away from the
intruder, Wednesday, Sept.1.
Slater Avenue: Someone stole a CD player and air filter from a car parked
in the 10400 block at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Newhope Street: Someone stole a man’s bicycle at the Los Caballeros
Sports Complex in the 17200 block at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Currant Avenue: someone stole $1,100 in property from a mobile home in
the 9800 block at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Darter Circle: Someone entered a residence in the 8600 block and stole
$500 in property at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Courreges Court: Someone made threatening phone calls to a student in the
8500 block and threatened to kill him at 3:27 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29.
Euclid Street: Someone smashed a car window with porcelain chips and
stole a CD player in the 17400 block at 12:25 p.m. Monday.
Sandstone Avenue: Someone stole a cellular phone and charger from a car
parked in the 11400 block at 5:53 p.m. Monday.
Brookhurst Street: Someone struck two people with a club and escaped in a
waiting car in the 17500 block at 4:50 a.m. Monday.
Tannas Avenue: Someone stole $5 in coins from a car parked in the 11700
block at 4:56 p.m. Monday.
Harbor Boulevard: Someone stole cosmetics and alcohol from Rite Aid
Pharmacy in the 16100 block and escaped after setting off the alarm at
1:14 p.m. Monday.
La Alameda Avenue: Someone fired a BB gun at a window of Parkhurst
Retirement Residence in the 9900 block at 7:02 p.m. and damaged the
window Sunday.
Ellis Avenue: A man had his car washed at Beacon Bay Auto Washes in the
10000 block and left without paying at 4:32 p.m. Sunday.
Garfield Avenue: Someone stole four cases of beer from Ralphs grocery in
the 9000 block at 9:57 p.m. Thursday.

Tidepool Circle: A neighbor pulled a gun on a woman after her cat

Rambler Drive: Nine juveniles were unsupervised and noisy in a backyard

Beach Boulevard: A woman’s roommate tore the phone out of the wall in the

Alert Lane: A woman heard someone turn on the television in her home in
the 16100 block when she thought she was alone at 3:18 a.m. Sunday.
Countess Drive: Several homeless people set up tents in Portofino Park
and stayed over night, violating a city ordinance, at the intersection of
Edinger Avenue at 6:56 a.m. Sunday.
Bluebird Lane: A broken 15-foot tree branch dangled over the sidewalk in
the 15700 block at 9:54 a.m. Sunday.
Delaware Street: A man destroyed property in the 2500 block at 12:45 p.m.
Sunday.
Edye Drive: Several juveniles drove two-wheel scooters in the 10100 block
at 1:01 p.m. Sunday.
Florida Street: Several juveniles threw birdseed in the street so feeding
birds would be hit by cars in the 2200 block. Four birds were killed in
30 minutes at 1:41 p.m. Sunday.
Ganges Lane: A man tried to stab himself in the 16100 block at 4:12 p.m.

Adams Avenue: Kids shot off bottle rockets at Bartlett Park at the
intersection of Coldwater Lane at 7:21 p.m. Sunday.
Pickwick Circle: Several kids climbed onto the roof at Harbour View
School at 7:22 p.m. Sunday.
Valley Circle: Several kids set off “fart bombs” in the 18900 block at
8:06 p.m. Sunday.
Delaware Street: People at a wild party threw glass and chairs over a
fence into a neighbor’s yard in the 2300 block at 8:53 p.m. Sunday.
Parkside Lane: Someone stole a VCR and jewelry from a home in the 16100

Beach Boulevard: Fifteen people fought each other at the intersection of
