Sabres, No Fear fight to deadlock

Cody Camrin led the way with three goals and the Sabres remained

unbeaten in their past four outings by earning a 4-4 tie with No Fear in

a Mite Club Division match played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center

in Huntington Beach.

Camrin’s three goals pushed the Sabres’ season scoring leader’s

total to 13.

Russell Gonzalez also scored once, and Adam Springer picked up an

assist to complete the scoring for the Sabres, who improved to 4-3-1

overall.

No Fear, now 3-3-2 overall, had its scoring spread out among Brock

Dowis, Chase Chodzko, Tanner Marsey, and Taylor Apostol, each of whom

scored once.

Assists were recorded by Brian Kaminsky, who had two, and both

Derek Huffman, and Steven Siglin, both with one.

In other games:

LBZ 5, The Surf 4

Ricky Olson scored two goals to pace LBZ (4-5), which snapped a

two match losing streak. Michael Mendez, Tyler Ruiz, and Chris Batthurst

each scored once, and Mendez, Donald Kohler, Drew Ruiz, and Nick Dluglosz

all had an assist for the victors.

Kevin Lachman’s three goals and Chad Ramsey’s two assists powered

The Surf (5-2-1), who also received a goal from Kevin Tanaka and a Ryan

Doyle assist.

Flamebos 5, The Surf 3

Mark Miller knocked in a pair of goals and single scores went to

Dan Zike, Stephen Nelson, and Jared Yonekura, and both Yonekura and Niko

Urbano each added an assist for the Flamebos (2-5-1), who ended a losing

streak at three games.

Chad Ramsey scored twice, Kevin Tanaka scored once, assist leader

Ryan Doyle set up three scores, and Kevin Lachman had one assist to lead

The Surf.
