Puckhogs all tied up
The Hawks ended the Smythe Division-leading Puckhogs’ win steak at
five games Monday by scoring a 3-3 tie in roller hockey action at Coast 2
Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Team leading scorer Sam Robinson netted a pair of goals and John
Barrows completed the scoring with one, and goalkeeper Christopher Torres
turned away 28 shot attempts by the Puckhogs as the Hawks remained
undefeated in three games (2-0-1) in improving to 3-4-2 overall.
Troy Bosiljevac scored twice, Stephanie Martin scored once, and
goalie Derek Takeshita recorded 26 saves for the Puckhogs, who saw their
record move to 7-1-1.

Renegades 7, Snipers 3
With both Mikel Ehret and Spencer Ito each scoring two goals, and
Chris Murphy handing out three assists, the Renegades reversed a recent
losing trend as they snapped a three-game skid and improved to 3-5-1
overall. Jacob Hill, Joe Murphy, and Kevin Woods all scored once, Hill
and Murphy each added a pair of assists, and single assists went to both
Scott Fifield and Jake Marsey for the winners.
Mitchell Freeman scored twice off assists from both Jonathan Hall
and Ross Turchi to lead the Snipers (3-6).
Blastoids 6, Timberwolves 3
Tyler Geery scored three goals and had an assist, both Corey Ivy
and Mark Miller each had a goal and assist, Jeffrey Kurokawa scored once,
and Trevor Carroll had an assist to complete the arsenal attack of the
Blastoids (5-3-1); Greg Sanchez tallied a pair of goals, Andrew Mastrolia
scored once with two assists, and Patrick Lacy also had an assist for the
Timberwolves (3-5-1).
