Rosalie Kfoury<br/>November 25, 1931 - December 18, 2014
Rosalie Florence Kfoury passed away on December 18, 2014, surrounded by her loving caregivers and family. Rosalie will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her. Her humor and lively personality brought happiness to those that cared for her.
Rosalie was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Edward and Madeline Conway. After her marriage and the birth of her four children, the family moved to California. In her late forties, Rosalie returned to college at the University of California, Irvine, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology. From there, she went on to earn two Master Degrees and her license as a marriage and family therapist. In addition to running a private practice, Rosalie served as faculty at various local colleges and guest lecturer at events throughout Orange County.
Rosalie enjoyed caring for and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and numerous dogs. She expressed her respect for nature and the importance of conservation by serving as a volunteer Naturalist for the Upper Newport Bay. Rosalie loved the ocean and requested that her ashes be scattered at sea.
