Additional charges were filed Thursday in the case against a Newport Beach teenager accused in a string of Newport home burglaries, prosecutors said.

Quinn Kasbar, 18, was charged with 14 additional counts of burglary and attempted burglary and one count of possession of stolen property, court records show.

Kasbar was arrested Dec. 1, according to Newport Beach police. Search warrants served at various locations around the city, including a storage unit, uncovered “a large amount of stolen property valued in the several hundreds of thousands of dollars,” police said.

Kasbar is out on $550,000 bail and is scheduled to be back in court March 11.
