It’s a Goldie Palooza as hundreds of golden retrievers gather in Huntington Beach
Floppy-eared golden retrievers bounded through Huntington Beach’s Central Park on Sunday for the inaugural Goldie Palooza.
Hundreds of owners took their dogs to the park to enter a costume contest and take part in other festivities.
The event was organized by SoCal Golden Retrievers Buddies, a group that meets regularly around the region.
Proceeds from the festival will go to Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue and the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue.
