Man hospitalized in Fountain Valley stabbing

A man was hospitalized after being found with multiple stab wounds in Fountain Valley on Sunday, authorities said.

Officers responding to a call found the man, in his 40s, near the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Edinger Avenue at about 2:30 p.m., the Orange County Register reported, He was taken to a hospital.

Police said they were searching the area for a person of interest, but no other information about the case was immediately available.
