Trailer with $30,000 in equipment inside is stolen from Fountain Valley church parking lot
A 25-foot trailer with about $30,000 worth of equipment used for a pop-up church in Huntington Beach was stolen last week from the Beachpoint Church parking lot in Fountain Valley, authorities said Wednesday.
Church officials reported Sunday that one of two trailers in the lot at 17415 Magnolia St. had been stolen.
Mike Del Gallo, director of community life for Beachpoint Church, said the trailer was last seen between June 21 and June 23.
The church rented the trailer to transport items from its Fountain Valley campus to Spring View Middle School in Huntington Beach for Sunday services.
The trailer contained supplies for the children’s ministry, including chairs, play mats, televisions and an audio system. Directional signage, tents, tables and items to make coffee also were inside, Del Gallo said.
Police said they have not identified any suspects in the case.
Beachpoint Church is soliciting donations on its website to help replace the stolen items.
