Hundreds of women turn out for ‘Bachelor’ auditions in Costa Mesa
About 200 women with designs on appearing on “The Bachelor” reality TV series next season made their pitches during day-long auditions Saturday at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel in Costa Mesa.
The show’s casting team will choose half the hopefuls to go to the next round of auditions.
ABC’s “The Bachelor” will be heading into its 23rd season. Each season focuses on a single man who is expected to select a wife from among a group of romantic interests through an elimination process. At the end of the season, the bachelor typically proposes marriage to his final selection.
