Schock Boats announces new family ownership

Newport Beach’s Schock Boats announced Thursday that it has transitioned to new family ownership.

Former proprietors Scott and Marie Schock will move to advisory roles while Steve and Ruth Schock will take over as principals.

The new owners are planning to introduce monthly Taco Tuesdays for customers, as well as fishing tournaments and demo days.

Schock Boats is a one-stop boating shop with a complete ship’s store. Housing one of the largest inventories of fishing and family boats in California, it will continue to sell new and used models of Grady-White boats, in addition to other premium brands.

The store is located in Newport Beach’s Cannery Village at 2900 Lafayette Road.
