Gala will raise funds for CMHS arts
The Costa Mesa High School Foundation is hosting a masquerade gala this month to raise money for the new theater and various art programs at the high school.
The fundraiser will be held Oct. 25 in conjunction with the unveiling of the high school’s new theater.
“This benefit is intended to provide the new venue with all of the amenities that the school district couldn’t afford,” said foundation president and school board trustee Katrina Foley.
The foundation hopes to use a portion of the funds raised to purchase a concert grand piano for the theater.
The high school’s madrigal choir and jazz band will perform during the gala, as well as Silverfox and Dead End Road, two bands started by Costa Mesa dads.
