The Joint Chiropractic is offering a free consultation, exam and adjustment to emergency first responders through Saturday.
The offer is good for active-duty military members, police, firefighters and emergency medical technicians and their immediate family members.

Exercise bike store to open at Fashion Island
Peloton, a retailer of at-home indoor electronic exercise bikes, plans to open a store next week at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
The location at 1093 Newport Center Drive also will feature Peloton’s line of active wear.

Starbucks opening 2nd freestanding shop at South Coast Plaza
Starbucks will open a new 1,300-square-foot shop this month on the first level of South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.
The shop will be the coffee chain’s second freestanding location at South Coast, following the spring reopening of a revamped and expanded store on Level 2.

Costa Mesa company names new finance chief
Costa Mesa-based Astro Pak Corp., which provides precision cleaning services for the medical device, semiconductor and other industries, has appointed Todd Dean as chief financial officer, overseeing finance, accounting and administration.
Dean has served on the Astro Pak board of directors the past 10 years.
