Jury award: In the Aug. 9 story “Jury awards $3.8 million to former Newport-Mesa student,” Timothy Swift was incorrectly called the lead trial attorney. In fact, he is one of several lawyers representing Bryan Zavala, but he did not present trial testimony. Gregory Bentley and Keith More were Zavala’s trial lawyers.
