CPK’s Newport location helps lead new menu launch

California Pizza Kitchen’s Newport Beach location is one of the first in the restaurant chain to launch an expanded menu featuring dishes such as fire-grilled rib eye steak and roasted halibut.

The “Next Chapter” menu also includes new options in appetizers, salads and side dishes. It comes on the heels of a redesign with oak floors, reclaimed-wood tabletops and chairs, stone countertops, recycled seating fabrics and an open floor plan.

The makeover is being done at 80 CPK locations nationwide this year, with all of the chain’s 291 restaurants completing the renovation by the end of 2016, the company said.
