Balboa Island shows it loves a parade

Cars, dancers, musicians, floats, dogs and more filled the streets of Balboa Island on Sunday morning in the 22nd annual Celebrate Balboa Island Day parade in Newport Beach.

The event, this year with the theme “Anchors Aweigh,” began on Bayside Drive, crossed the Balboa Island Bridge and traveled down Marine Avenue to the fire station.
