Have you seen this man wanted in a Newport robbery?
Newport Beach police Wednesday asked for help identifying a man suspected of a robbing a woman last week.
The man grabbed a woman in a Newport Center Drive parking structure at about 1:45 p.m. on May 12, police said.
He took a Rolex watch from the woman’s wrist and fled, according to a Newport Beach Police Department news release.
The woman suffered a minor injury to her wrist during the robbery, police said.
Police described the man as about 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing 130 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a tight black shirt and dark pants.
Police distributed surveillance photos and asked anyone who recognizes the man to contact detectives at (949) 644-3797 or [email protected].
