UCI police looking for suspect in March thefts

UC Irvine police on Wednesday asked for the public’s help in identifying a man they said stole items from locked rooms in the engineering laboratory.

Police said the man was seen stealing items at 3:06 a.m. March 24 and provided a video of a man walking down a hallway wearing a camouflage jacket with camouflage cargo shorts and a dark hat.

No information was immediately available about what items were taken or their value.
