Fairview Park committee meeting canceled

Wednesday’s meeting of the Fairview Park Citizens Advisory Committee has been canceled because of a scheduling conflict, according to Costa Mesa officials.

The meeting was rescheduled for 6 p.m. April 1 in the Neighborhood Community Center, 1845 Park Ave.

The meeting was also canceled last month because city staff were not prepared to make presentations to the committee about the possibility of adding sports facilities to Fairview Park’s southeast quadrant.

A separate meeting organized by College Park residents to discuss city laws addressing problematic sober-living homes and crimes that may be connected to them is still set for Wednesday.

The session begins at 6 p.m. at College Park Elementary School, 2380 Notre Dame Road.

City officials, including City Council members and interim Police Chief Ron Lowenberg, are expected to attend.
