Saturday service will honor Henry T. Segerstrom
A day of remembrance in honor of South Coast Plaza founder Henry T. Segerstrom will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Ave., Santa Ana.
Segerstrom, who built the shopping center and provided the land for the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, died Friday at age 91. He lived in Newport Beach.
The family is inviting the general public to Saturday’s service, an “open visitation,” according to a statement from South Coast Plaza.
In lieu of flowers, visitors are asked to donate to the Henry T. Segerstrom Memorial Fund at Segerstrom Center Arts, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Additional information is online at scfta.org.
