Man arrested at beach on suspicion of indecent exposure

Newport Beach police arrested a 45-year-old Buena Park man suspected of masturbating on the beach Thursday morning, authorities said.

Police said they received a call around 8:15 a.m. that a man was touching himself inappropriately near the 28th Street lifeguard tower.

Officers arrested Richard Bill Sabinske near the Newport Pier on suspicion of indecent exposure, police spokeswoman Jennifer Manzella said.
