Saddleback Church branch to open in Costa Mesa

Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church is scheduled to open a new campus Sunday in downtown Costa Mesa.

The new location in Newport Plaza, 1901 Newport Blvd., across from The Triangle, will serve as a new home for the Huntington Beach congregation that previously met at Ocean View High School.

The campus, led by pastor Moses Camacho, will be open every day. It will also provide free counseling, recovery and support groups.

“Saddleback Church offers so many programs for everyone from infants to adults that strengthen families, offer hope and support, and help people find their life purpose,” Camacho said in a news release. “I am so excited for Saddleback to be a part of this amazing community and serve the people in the Newport-Mesa area.”

The Costa Mesa Saddleback campus is the Lake Forest-based church’s seventh in Orange County.
